Your TimeClock devices need a stable, secure network to communicate with the systems that store and process employee data. If your organisation uses OnTime devices supported by Cube Purple and RLDatix, here’s how to keep everything running smoothly.

1. Connect OnTime with AirStack

For accurate data transfer, your OnTime devices must maintain a clear connection to AirStack – the cloud platform that handles all attendance information.

Checklist:

  • Allow unrestricted internet access for SmartHub devices through your firewall.

  • If full access isn’t possible, ensure they can connect directly to AirStack (Allocate Cloud).

  • For specific IPs or URLs, contact RLDatix Support for confirmation.

2. Enable Access to CPAir

Your TimeClocks also connect to CPAir, Cube Purple’s remote device management system. This enables updates, diagnostics, and maintenance without on-site visits.

Allow communication with:

🖥️ Server IP: 198.244.229.71

Once configured, your devices will automatically stay updated and connected.

3. Keep Google Play Services Open

Google Play Services power essential OnTime functions such as employee registration, location validation, and secure template transfer.

Network ports to allow:

  • 443 (standard HTTPS)

  • 5228–5230 (background services)

Keeping these open ensures seamless syncing and system updates.

4. Enable Remote Support via TeamViewer

When issues arise, Cube Purple’s support team uses TeamViewer for fast, secure remote assistance. It only makes outgoing connections, so it’s safe and compliant.

Firewall settings:

  • Port 5938 (preferred)

  • Port 443 or 80 (backup options)
